Strength in every shoreline - resources and guidance

Understanding our support
For young people and families engaging with Anchor Fleetwood, we provide clear explanations of our services, including what mentoring, family support, and early intervention entail. We clarify who can access our support (ages 4-25, families, and those with SEN or school difficulties) and outline simple steps for making a referral, whether online or by contacting us directly. You’ll learn what to expect after a referral, from assessment to ongoing support, and find reassurance that our approach is safe, compassionate, and personalised to your needs.
Where community meets calm seas - words of empowerment
You’re not alone: It’s okay to ask for help—support is available, and asking doesn’t make you weak.
Everyone is unique: Support is tailored to your individual needs, so don’t be afraid to share what works for you.
Early support matters: The sooner you reach out, the easier it is to address challenges before they grow.
Believe in change: With guidance and support, challenges can be overcome, and goals can be achieved.
One step at a time: Small, consistent actions can make a big difference in confidence, wellbeing, and progress.
Stay connected: Building positive relationships with trusted adults, mentors, and peers can help you navigate challenges.
