Support as steady as the tide

What makes us different

What makes Anchor 1:1 truly unique is our deeply personal, one‑to‑one approach, grounded in real local understanding. As three women who grew up in Fleetwood, we know this community and the tides of challenge families often navigate.

Our mentoring, family support, and early intervention are carefully tailored to each individual, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) — ensuring every young person and family feels seen, supported, and empowered.

Unlike larger services, we focus on building trust and offering steady, consistent guidance. By stepping in early and becoming a reliable anchor point, we help create lasting change that continues well beyond the waves of day‑to‑day challenges.

Mentoring

Personalised one-to-one guidance to build confidence and navigate challenges.

Family support

Dedicated support for families facing difficulties, fostering stronger relationships.

Early intervention

Proactive support to address issues early, preventing escalation and promoting well-being.

Who we support

Anchor 1:1 supports young people aged 4–25 and their families who may be facing challenges such as school difficulties, behavioural or emotional struggles, social isolation, or Special Educational Needs (SEN). We also work with families dealing with poverty, lack of local opportunities, or times of change and uncertainty. Anyone within this age range who needs guidance, mentoring, or early intervention can benefit from our personalised, one-to-one support.

Our commitment to Fleetwood

As a community support service founded by locals, we are deeply committed to the well-being of Fleetwood. Our understanding of the local landscape allows us to offer highly relevant and effective support, empowering individuals and families to thrive within their own community.
